Chain Rxn Facebook Cheats, Tips
Posted by free iPhone on Monday May 25, 2009 Under freeSo, I imagine you have come here to discover how to get a high score in the addictive Chain Rxn Facebook game, or are looking for some general hints and tips, or even Chain Rxn cheats? If so, I can help you on all but the cheats as I don’t know of any. I do know how to consistently score over 50,000,000 points though, and hopefully by following my Chain Rxn hints you will improve your scores too.
After you’ve read this short guide, why not find out how to get yourself a free iphone on PAYG.
Chain Rxn is a very popular Facebook game, and the aim of the game is to explode a set number of flying balls by setting off a chain reaction. The bigger the chain reaction, the bigger your score.
There are 12 levels to work through, and each level gets progressively harder with more balls flying around and more balls you need to explode.
Most people seem to begin by doing exactly what is needed to complete the level – i.e. explode n number of balls. This is simple enough, but will never get you the big scores.
To obtain a high score on Chain Rxn, you need to set off a big chain reaction in sequence, and you want to explode 90-100% of the balls on the screen as close to one after another as you can possibly manage. You will find that by doing this, each explosion is worth more and more points and once you get up to the biggest sequential chain reactions, each ball can be worth millions of points.
The easiest way to do this relies on simple physics – this is a square box (or rectangle) with four corners. As the balls are not travelling in horizontal or vertical lines, they will all eventually gravitate towards the corners. So this is where your chain reaction should begin. Now, when I say in the corner, I mean right in the corner. This way the balls can only hit the initial explosion from 1 direction, increasing your chances of a Chain Rxn, and preventing the creation of numerous low scoring explosions. Don’t be hasty though, as the balls move around the box try to be patient and wait for the balls to begin to travel in lines, one after the other. Once you can see a number of (5-6) balls travelling in a line, towards a corner, click the mouse button to begin the Chain Rxn.

This method does not work every time, and relies on some luck but after 4-5 attempts at each level you will start to set off some huge scoring chain reactions.
Try to avoid starting with a cluster of balls, because they will end up splitting your chain rxn into two or three low scoring clumps.
If your balls hit the same chain rxn, one after the other, you will start to see some massive scores totting up.
If you have any more Chain Rxn tips, cheats or strategies, post them here for us all to see.
As I can now score 60 million points using this guide I thought it was timely to give a bit more information on scoring.
The scoring system works exponentially, which means that by creating the longest single chain rxn as possible, the score you receive is much higher than clearing the board with 3 or more chain rxns.
Take a look at this chart, which shows the score each explosion gets as the length of the chain rxn increases. So for the first explosion, you score 100 points, the second gets you 800 points etc. If you can manage a chain rxn that is 20 explosions long, the next explosion on that chain rxn is worth 1 million points, and so on.

Chain Rxn Scoring
But, break the Chain rxn and your 21st explosion will be worth only 100 points, keep it going and you will start scoring very big scores.
My chain rxn tip for today is not to worry too much until around level 5 where there are a decent number of balls to hit some high scores. You need to be scoring close to 20 million points for each of the final 3 levels to get up into the 70 million + catagory.
Now you hopefully have a better understanding of the importance of maintaining a single chain rxn throughout the entire level. Even if you have 2 chains going you have just reduced your potential points by 50%.
Good luck, and report back if you can beat me (63 Million!)

Good Tips.
This game still requires a great amount of patience however.
4-5 attempts using this method will not gain 50+ Million.
More like 40-50 attempts.

If you wait long enough until they line line up you can get some great chain rxn scores after just 4-5 attempts at each level. The trick is to be patient until the balls line up!

This is actually the opposite of what you should do. You get more points when you start when the balls are just far away enough from the initial ball to crash while it is still big. The more space that is covered up by the explosion the more balls will get caught and explode. Also, you want lots of little clusters over the screen. Again, you want to cover as much ground as possible. I find staying in the middle to work best. Or at least that is what works for me. So…do the opposite of what this guy tells you.

Actually, the reasoning here i s sound, I use it myself (my high is 50 million or so). The pattern is the cube 100 rule.
Watch:
1st wave: 1 cubed is 1, times 100 is 100
2nd wave: 2 cubed is 8, times 100 is 800
3rd wave: 3 cubed is 27, times 100 is 2700
4th wave: 4 cubed is 64, times 100 is 6400
5th wave: 5 cubed is 125, times 100 is 12,500
etc etc
You can see how by the 20th and beyond waves, each explosion is indeed expotentially increased (literally in fact).
I find the key is to is start in a corner when the line is running at you, so that by the time your chain hits the central area, there are bouncing off the 72,000, or 100,000, or more, rather than a lowly 800, 2700, etc, if you started in the center.

I’m not sure I understand this methodology. I can’t see the screenshots to verify what I’m supposed to eventually be seeing. I understand the theory, and the scoring mechanism. It’s just that I have been VERY patient with this game and have allowed up to 10 minutes for each level, but I NEVER see the balls line up the way they are described to do here. Am I missing something?

Wish I hadn’t read this post, I play this game sometimes and frankly I’m rubbish at it. Now the next time I play there’s a danger I may actually get a decent score for a change, and then be more inclined to keep on playing. Thus wasting more time that I really should be using more productively. Anyway, 70 million here I come.

I’m on 47,103,095,441 ;D
It actually gets easier as you get further in the game.
I didn’t use this method by they way.
